Vivo has teased the launch of the X Fold+ 5G. The new Vivo foldable smartphone will launch in china. The launch date of the X Fold+ 5G is unknown at the moment. Jia jingdong Vice President of Vivo, revealed (via) some key specifications of the upcoming foldble.

The Vivo X Fold+ G be the second foldable phone the company. It will come with some iterative upgrades over the X Fold 5G, which has launched earlier this years. The company is expected to launched the X Fold+ 5G in global markets as well. Vivo X Fold+ 5G Specifications

The Vivo X Fold+ 5G will be the company's new premium foldable smartphone taking on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 5G. The phone's is expected to launch soon. Ahead on the launch, the company revealed that the X Fold+ 5G will get a new hinge mechanism. Because of the new hinge, the X Fold+ 5G can be folded and set at different angles, such as 30 degrees, 90 degrees, and 120 degrees.

Jingdong further revealed that the X Fold+ 5G will come with a 120Hz foldable display. The screen has received 19 Display A+ certificates foldable. In addition to this, the foldable screen and the cover display will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. While Jingdong did not reveal the display size, it is rumored that phone will feature an 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch cover display.

Under the hood the foldable phone  will feature the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc. It will come with a bigger 4730 mAh battery and support 80W fast charging. The phone will also support 50W wireless charging.

Jingdong further revealed that the phone has Zeiss-turned cameras with a T* coating. According to takes, there will be a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait camera sensor and an 8MP periscope camera. The foldable device is also confirmed to launch in a new red color option as well.
